"JR1" (type35bugatti)

It is one of my personal favorite Mercedes models. The pillarless coupe is one of my favorite design elements on any automobile. With prices as cheap as chips after deprecation they seem like an awesome deal. Stupid maintenance though will probably get you.

Rode in one of these last summer. Don't remember anything about the ride, handling, power, brakes, interior, or exterior, but HOLY SHIT THE ROBOT SEATBELT EXTENDER IS AWESOME
10/10 would buckle.

The front seat belts in the CLK are mounted over the shoulder, just behind where the rear edge of the door meets rest of the car. Since it's a large coupe with rather long doors, and it is a pretty luxurious vehicle, MB thought it would be nice to install a device that kindly hands you your seatbelt so you don't have to reach back for it.
That one is from the S-Class I believe, but it's the same idea in the CLK. When you close the door it extends, and when you buckle your belt it retracts. Pretty neat little gizmo.

My 1990 Acura Legend Coupe had less-spiffy seatbelt presenters. The bottom seatbelt anchor flipped down when you opened the doors, to move the belt out of the way for people to get in back, and then flipped up when you close the door. Here it is in the door-open position:
If you see that plastic thing extending from the bottom of the seat to the bottom of the belt, that's the presenter.

I prefer the generation before those you posted.
Fell in love with my neighbor's CLK 55 when I was 14 or 15 and I've loved them ever since.

I prefer the rear three quarters of this car. The slopping rear looks fantastic. For me that front is a bit harder to love. Excellent car nevertheless.

"Your seatbelt sir."
All else joking though, for what the CLK is (a huge, comfy coupe), I thought it was a pretty good car in my limited experience with it.

Most comfortable seats I've ever experienced in a car. But the most underwhelming thing I've ever driven.

One of their better designs. Do the maintenance yourself and save tons.

The normal one is a bit bland compared to the Black. Because widebody.
Even though I really don't like modern Mercs, I will concede that this one is somewhat attractive.

The Black is a young boys wet dream I love it. Sadly it does make the normal CLK look vanilla.
